Before we start cleaning your upholstery, we check if it is safe to use an extensive “wet clean” process. Your furniture may have “dry clean only” labels, which are the manufacturer’s instruction to avoid owners getting carried away with DIY cleaning attempts.
After that, we thoroughly vacuum your furniture to remove dry soiling. An appropriate cleaning solution is then applied by a pressure sprayer and gently worked into the fabric, either by hand using a towel, cloth, or brush, or by the use of a hand held powered brush machine. Special attention is paid to heavily-soiled areas, such as the arms, seat cushions and back cushions, where head grease or oils can cause severe soiling.
After allowing a period of time for the cleaning solution to loosen the soiling from the fabric, the items are rinsed using commercial extraction equipment to remove the soiling and the cleaning solution. The items are then toweled-down to reset the fabric pile, which also aids drying.
